Original first-issue Tube lounge chair, designed by Joe Colombo for Flexform.
A highly collectible example of Italian postmodern design by the visionary designer.
First issued in 1969, this scarce design icon was produced only for a short period of time.
Our vintage example is in excellent condition, with only minor scuffing to the patent upholstery, soft, pliable foam, and an immaculate white interior.
The dynamic form is comprised of four graduated plastic tubes, wrapped in a luxe black patent vinyl.
The tubes can be arranged into different forms and nest in one another for easy storage and transportation.
Made in Italy, circa 1969.
