3ds Max 2014. V-Ray 3.40.01. The scene contains two objects, carpet and splines (spline_hair). If the hair does not open to scale, then in the settings for hair and fur you need to open the tool roll and activate the inscription Recomb From Splines and specify spline_hair, and the wool will take the desired shape. Then the splines can be removed.
File formats obj, fbx without wool.
Before rendering, go to the Rendering - Effects tab, click on Hair and Fur and select mr prim mode below. If you have any problems with rendering fur, email me. I will try to help you.
