A tour-de-force of industrialised furniture by 'the factory man': high-pressure laminate of phenolic resin with paper plus folded sheet steel.
Completely without frivolity, the Trapeze table was created for Paris' radical Cite Universitaire.
Designed in 1950, this table has been re-issued by Vitra, whose sticker indicates its authenticity.
