Hair is made by Hair And Fur modifier, don't forget to change “buffer” to “mr prim” in Render/Effects in Hairs.

Hair And Fur is configured for close angles, for far angles to reduce render time you can lower the value of Hair Count, Hair Segments, Hair Passes in the General Parameters scroll, in the Material Parameters scroll uncheck Tip Fade.

FBX file without hair, hair can be created using Hair And Fur modifier, you can find a screen with hair settings in the archive.
