Kanji is a round coffee table in ash and Fior di Pesco Carnico marble. Heavy elements are linked to lighter ones, like traces of ink drawn on a piece of paper to form a symbol, a letter, an ideogram. Clear contrasts of thickness are transformed into sharp graphic expressions: to give life to these unmistakable figures in marble and ash wood, Monika Förster is inspired by calligraphy, the art of writing in an elegant and regular manner. The tables are available in two sizes and colors: Breccia Bresciana with a walnut lacquered structure for a warm and delicate finish, Fior di Pesco Carsico with a dark gray structure for a more determined and sober tone.
