The scene contains splines (spline_hair).
If the hair does not open to scale, then in the settings for hair and fur you need to open the tool roll and activate the Recomb From Splines inscription and specify spline_hair, and the wool will take the desired size. Then the splines can be removed.

Before rendering, go to the Rendering - Effects tab, click on Hair and Fur and select mr prim mode below.
