Daisy Duck is an animated character created in 1940 by Dick Lundy. She is an anthropomorphic duck and is usually portrayed as Donald Duck's girlfriend. Daisy wears a pink or purple dress and a large pink bow on her head. Unlike Donald, as a female character, she has large eyelashes and a small tuft of hair on her head. She also always wears wide-heeled shoes. In early cartoons, she was known as Donna Duck.
