The sculptural totem coffee tables are designed based on the “Moai” sculptures at Ahu Akivi, made of natural stone and tinted glass. The base is carved from a single block of natural stone. The glass separating the top of the marble from the main part tries to show how durable stone can be fragile like nature, and also creates a decorative effect with the texture of the marble rising to the surface instead. Hidden connecting pieces practically unite the top piece of marble, glass and base
