The scene contains two objects: carpet and splines (spline_hair).
If the hair is not scalable, then in the settings for hair and fur, you need to open the scrolling tools and activate the inscription "Recomb From Splines" and specify spline_hair, and the wool will take the desired size. Before rendering, go to the "Rendering - Effects" tab, click on "Hair and Fur" and select the mr prim mode below. If you have any problems with drawing fur, write to me.
